Who Am I?
I write books with a specific audience in mind. Readers like me, over 40, empty nesters. People who possibly for the first time in their life are beginning to live life for themselves. Do what they want to do. And I love reiterating that life isn't over at this stage of life, it's really just beginning and there is so much exciting stuff out there waiting for your discovery. At the age of 49, I sold or gave away literally everything I owned, applied for a passport and moved to Ecuador. I know that of which I write. Whether you prefer fiction or non-fiction, come, explore this new world and new life with me.
There are adventures waiting for all of us. These are a few of the things I’ve done in the past two years…what’s next? Zip lining? Mountain climbing? Sky diving? The Galapagos? Who knows…stay tuned.
AdventuresThings I never dreamed I would do:
Move to a foreign country.
Join a guy’s poker group. But you know, book foder!
Pet an Alpaca or a llama.
Ride a train around the harrowing pin curves of a mountain.
Walk around South American cities trying to see the tops of volcanos and discovering large birds instead.
Spend my 51st birthday with over 50 authors at a book launch and watching our book hit #1 on launch day.
Play in the biggest silly foam fight in the world.
Join a Dance Mob
Go on a photo shoot at Inca ruins.
Walk through a 600 year old cathedral with life-size castings of the disciples.
Write a book or two or three or four or more!
